Job Summary

    The Senior Product Owner oversees the work of our scrum teams, gathering feature requests and prioritizing tasks. They coordinate sprints with the Scrum Master and mentor team members, driving efficiency and improvement. Responsible for delivering high-impact, detailed products that align with our company's vision and deliver significant customer value.

    As a senior member of the team, you will excel at mentoring others, driving improvement and efficiency in our agile requirements management whilst keeping a keen eye on detail and quality. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify and negotiate user needs and work with cross-functional teams to define & prioritize the scope of releases that deliver business value.

    Ultimately, you’ll help us roll-out high-impact products that deliver significant customer value in-line with our company’s vision.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Works closely with Product Management team, incorporating feature requests into product roadmap & backlog.
    • Grooms and prioritizes the product backlog with Product Management team.
    • Develops user stories and defines achievable acceptance criteria.
    • Sets sprint goals and defines sprint backlogs with the engineering teams.
    • Sprint planning and features release milestones working with Program & Product Management team.
    • Follows the progress of work and addresses details/information issues during sprints.
    • Interprets the functional requirements and requests of end-users.
    • Refines our agile methodology based on results and feedback.
    • Keeps track of industry trends and best practices.

    Key Skills

    • Ability to define testable stories, experience with INVEST and SMART a plus
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Decision-making ability

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience

      • Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience

      Certifications

      • Certified Scrum Professional – Scrum Master (Preferred)
      • Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)

      Additional Experience

      • Consistent commercial experience working as a Product Owner or in a similar role within product management
      • Experience implementing and performing SCRUM methodology using modern online tools
      • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
      • Whole implementation project life cycle experience as a Manager with a thorough understanding of the integration between applications

      Pay Rate: $101,000 - $120,000 Salary

      Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
