Job Summary

    The Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating a smooth transition for international clinicians joining our healthcare system. This position is responsible for guiding clinicians through the onboarding process, ensuring they have the necessary resources, documentation, and support to begin their assignments successfully.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming international clinicians, addressing their queries and concerns throughout the onboarding journey.
    • Collaborate with immigration specialists to ensure clinicians have valid work permits and visas, and meet all legal requirements for employment in the U.S.
    • Partner with appropriate internal teams to ensure cost-effective quality service to the nurses ensuring on-time start and solid foundation in a new environment.
    • Coordinate housing arrangements, transportation, and other logistical support for clinicians relocating to the U.S.
    • Research the location of Client facilities to give clinicians an overview of housing, schools, and any other areas relevant to their relocation.
    • Liaise with hospital departments to ensure clinicians have access to necessary training, resources, and systems access upon arrival.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to onboarding activities.
    • Adhere to pre-agreed budget guidelines for the clinician relocation package and Community Liaison service. Track all costs related to relocation.
    • Offer ongoing support and guidance to clinicians throughout their initial assignment period to facilitate a successful integration.

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience

      • High School Diploma/GED plus 0-2 years of work experience

      Additional Experience

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
      • Experience in a customer service role

      Work Environment / Physical Requirement

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate: $17.25 - $20.50 Hourly

        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
