Job Summary

    AMN Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, SEC Reporting to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of both internal and external financial reports. The Senior Analyst will assist with various financial reporting activities, including the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, financial close procedures, earnings release and earnings call preparation, journal entries, and account reconciliation and analysis.

    Remote-friendly. However, candidates located within 50 miles of one of our office hubs will follow a hybrid work model.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports on public filings (10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings) and support internal and external reviews for these documents.
    • Work extensively in Workiva to prepare and manage SEC filings, including earnings releases.
    • Analyze and review data received from outside auditors and other key service partners to support complete and accurate financial reporting.
    • Support the preparation and coordination of quarter-end SEC reporting requirements, including financial disclosure and lockdown schedules.
    • Prepare and review specified monthly account reconciliations and provide support for financial accounting close procedures.
    • Conduct analysis to assist in the determination of accurate accounting treatment based on regulatory guidance.
    • Assist with special projects that involve research of relevant accounting standards.
    • Maintain and perform required procedures to support effective operation of internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience

      • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 – 5 years of work experience in Finance/Accounting OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience in Finance/Accounting

       

      Certifications

      • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) | Preferred

       

      Additional Experience

      • Experience in Finance or Accounting | Required
      • Expertise in Excel and Workiva
      • Strong knowledge of GAAP

       

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
