Job Summary
The Account Manager II, Nursing & Allied cultivates best-in-class and preferred healthcare facility client relationships, and consults on staffing needs and processes, by partnering with AMN Recruiters and Associate Vendors in order to source and confirm qualified Clinicians and facilitate successful assignments. This position cultivates healthcare facility client relationships across all specialties by consulting on staffing needs and processes and strategies.

Job Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain consultative relationships with healthcare facility contacts to identify staffing needs, hiring timelines, and workforce gaps.
- Drive future job orders by understanding client demand, fill rate opportunities, and ongoing staffing priorities across nursing and allied specialties.
- Provide proactive staffing solutions to address cross-departmental workforce challenges.
Order Management & Fulfillment
- Manage and track open job orders, including communication on candidate pipeline, submissions, placements, and contract end dates.
- Promote job orders to Recruiters through detailed order requirements, targeted outreach, and order alerts to drive qualified candidate submissions.
- Partner with Recruiters to align candidate qualifications (licensure, clinical skills, availability) with client requirements to improve fill rates.
Business Development & Strategy Support
- Research and track facility expansions, system conversions, and special projects to identify new staffing opportunities.
- Gather key details (timelines, stakeholders, decision makers) to support account strategy and growth plans.
- Partner with Regional Director, Business Development to align on client goals and expansion strategies.
Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience
- Associate's Degree plus 2-5 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 4-7 years of work experience in Healthcare staffing, account management or consultative sales
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare staffing, travel nursing, or allied staffing
- Experience partnering with recruiters to support candidate placement and fulfillment processes
- Exposure to workforce planning or healthcare operations
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate: $47,500 - $59,000 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
