Job Summary
The Senior Software Developer I is a full-stack developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SaaS applications across web and mobile platforms. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance solutions using modern technologies, including React (JavaScript), Django/Django REST (Python), and Redis on the backend, with exposure to mobile development (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java). The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers while collaborating across IT and business teams.
Job Responsibilities
Application Development
- Build and maintain full-stack applications with responsive web interfaces and backend services.
- Develop reusable React components and optimize performance for web applications.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate backend services using Django/Django REST and Redis.
Mobile Engineering
- Support iOS development (Swift, Objective-C) and Android development (Kotlin, Java) as needed.
Architecture & Design
- Apply Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices principles for modular, scalable solutions.
- Design secure, efficient APIs and data models for seamless integration.
Agile Collaboration
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver features on time.
Quality & Automation
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code reliability.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment; suggest enhancements to existing processes.
Continuous Learning & Mentorship
- Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through peer reviews and technical discussions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5–7 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9–11 years of experience.
- Must-have experience: Django/Django REST, React.js, JavaScript, Python, Redis.
- Experience in full-stack development, including UI, REST API design, business logic, and data access.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and ability to suggest improvements.
- Strong understanding of Agile development practices.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) and video-enabled platforms.
- Experience with technologies supporting virtual employees or call centers (e.g., routing, Cisco, Nivia).
- Ability to tune platforms for high-volume performance and scalability.
- Prior experience mentoring developers and solving complex technical challenges.
Work Environment / Physical Requirement
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate: $116,000 - $138,000 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
