Details About This Specific Position: 

• Dallas or San Diego Office Location, 2 to 3 days in office per week 

• Full-Time work during normal business hours 

The Summer Associate, Finance & Accounting intern role involves supporting special projects related to finance and accounting, as well as modeling and project management. This position provides valuable experience and skill-building opportunities in Excel, PowerPoint, and exposure to general ledger databases, accounting procedures, reporting, and other tools commonly used in corporate finance and accounting.

In this role, you will assist with financial reporting and projections, gain insights into corporate finance and accounting work within the healthcare staffing industry, and learn how to create and present summaries to senior finance leaders. You will also have the chance to enhance the finance and accounting team by providing support and value through independent project management.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a financial planning and analysis as well as an accounting department, which can be beneficial for your future career opportunities.

Minimum Experience: 

• Undergraduate student working toward their degree and/or returning to school in the fall 

• In a program relating to Finance or Accounting, preferred 

• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA 

Skills Needed: 

• Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint 

• Strong organization skills 

• Ability to communicate effectively
