The Role
We are seeking a Senior Director of Strategy & Operations to drive high-impact strategic initiatives and operational excellence within AMN’s Technology & Workforce Solutions Group. This leader will play a pivotal role in shaping AMN’s digital transformation, workforce optimization strategies, and technology-enabled solutions that empower healthcare organizations to navigate workforce challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
• Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that enhance AMN’s healthcare workforce technology portfolio.
• Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and areas for innovation in workforce technology solutions.
• Partner with executive leadership to develop business cases for new growth opportunities, investments, and operational improvements.
• Define and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
Operational Excellence
• Optimize business operations by improving processes, scalability, and efficiency across technology and workforce solutions.
• Oversee cross-functional initiatives to improve workforce management platforms, predictive analytics, and automation tools.
• Lead data-driven decision-making, leveraging insights to enhance workforce strategies for healthcare clients.
• Partner with IT, product development, and sales teams to streamline implementation and adoption of technology solutions.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Division President and executive leadership team, providing strategic insights and operational recommendations.
• Overtime build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and results.
• Act as a liaison between AMN’s internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of workforce solutions.
• Drive change management initiatives to accelerate adoption of new technologies and processes within healthcare organizations.
Qualifications & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or business transformation within healthcare, technology, or workforce solutions.
• Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives, optimizing business operations, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workforce challenges, technology platforms, and digital transformation trends.
• Expertise in data analytics, process improvement, and operational scalability.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex change initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Pay Rate: $130,500 - $163,000 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
