Job Summary

The Specialist I, IT Production Support provides quality first-level support to IT customers (AMN Team Members) to resolve incidents with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness. This position has frequent contact with end users, peers and managers.

*This is an onsite role. It is required to be in the Dallas office 5 days a week.*

Job Responsibilities

  • Tracks calls and documents problems into issue tracking software, consults knowledge database to optimize resolutions and follows through on resolution with callers.

  • Provides PC hardware and software support to end-users.

  • Provides first-level assistance for defined problems and escalates tickets.

  • Installs PC and related peripheral equipment for end-user.

  • Maintains statistical reports and documentation, including problem/trouble and departmental statistical and efficiency reporting.

  • Sets up user accounts, process move, transfer, and user change forms.

  • Helps maintain inventory control for AMN IT assets.

  • Sets up for meetings, and other Audio Visio special requests.

  • Researches resolve and respond to questions that require more detailed investigation received via telephone calls, web, voicemail, email, or callbacks in a timely manner, in accordance with current standards and procedures.

  • Acquires and maintains current knowledge of relevant products (software and hardware) and support policies in order to provide accurate solutions to customers.


Education & Years of Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED plus 5-7 years of work experience


  • CompTIA A+ | Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) | Preferred

  • CompTIA Network+ | Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) | Preferred

  • Microsoft Certified Professional | Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) | Preferred

Additional Experience

  • 1+ years in computer operations/help desk environment.

  • 1+ years in similar role preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
  • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

    Pay Rate: $24.50 - $29.25 Hourly

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
