Job Summary
The Senior Reporting Analyst I, develops and provides analytics in the areas of orders, candidate supply, pipeline, financials, quality, compensation, timecard, billing, and Client-related reporting. The role will help provide day-to-day reporting for our direct line of businesses across front, mid, and back office functions. This position will help provide insight into our world-class delivery of clinician- and physician-related services.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops strong working relationships with AMN division leadership, functional business leaders, and domain experts. Is a strong partner and trusted advisor to the business (internal consultant).
- Delivers business recommendations based on analytics using strong written and verbal communication.
- Finds opportunities to use analytics and reporting toolsets to influence decision-making and achieve business objectives.
- Uses Lean Six Sigma techniques and process improvement methodologies.
- Acts as a driving force to automate measurement of internal turn-around times and compare to SLAs and benchmarks/baselines.
- Manages process improvement initiatives within agreed-upon time frames. Works across functional silos to deliver improvements and conduct regular process reviews.
- Develops and maintains recurring performance and compensation reporting for the sales team that spans all levels of the organization, from branch management to senior leadership.
- Works with collaborators to operationalize the reporting to impact the organization.
- Builds enterprise-level Power BI decks using Power Platform, Power Automate, Snow Schema, Star Schema, SQL, and Python.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience | Preferred.
- MSFT certifications DA-100, PL-300, or equivalent are a plus.
Minimum Work Experience
- At least 4 years of demonstrable experience in business analysis.
- At least 4 years of recent experience in Power BI is a must.

- Intelligence, thoughtfulness, and critical thinking in turning data into insight, with the ability to use it within the business to drive value and results.
- Solid grasp of Microsoft Power Platform best practices and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to implement and translate between business and IT needs.
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills with a proven track record of applying sophisticated financial, statistical, and predictive-related principles.
- Being able to write functional requirement specifications for application improvements is a plus.

Pay Rate: $82,000 - $97,500 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
