Senior Master Data Developer(Boomi)

The Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Developer is responsible for helping design solutions that redefine how customers work well with their critically meaningful data applications and how these applications perform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong appreciation for data-centric design, and automation, a love of technology, superb communication, and a good work ethic. The MDM Developer will also support operations by supervising and analyzing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization

Job Tasks: 

  • Experienced in building Master Data Management systems in an enterprise MDM environment using enterprise MDM tools.
  • Deep technical skills for Master Data Management platform, including solution architecture, inbound/outbound data integration (ETL), Data Quality (DQ) and Data Director (DD) development, maintenance/tuning of match rules and expectations.
  • Ability to craft, develop and translate business requirements and processes for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria, and data stewardship workflows using master data management solutions.
  • Proven experience and ability to apply data quality techniques such as match, merge, profiling, score carding, data standardization, and parsing using enterprise data quality platforms.
  • Experience with fix and resolving MDM-related issues and providing validated solutions, aligning with master data strategies and the best practices.
  • Collaborate with source systems, data stewards, and technical personnel for data governance and to resolve any data quality or technical issues related to data ingestion.
  • Supervise MDM services to ensure appropriate performance, errors correction, isolate areas for improvement, and for general debugging.
  • Collaborate with data re-mediators, database administrators, network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to help resolve problems with MDM and data integration service applications.

Minimum Education/Certifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Minimum Experience: 

  • Must have experience with Agile and MDM Solution Development
  • Must have hands-on experience with MDM solution development – Data modeling, Data Integration, Data validation, Match and Merge rules, and Data Stewardship
  • Experience in integrating external business applications with MDM hub using Batch and Real-time process SIF (Services Integration Framework) and message queues
  • Understanding of data governance and data profiling concepts

Preferred Experience

  • 5 + years of professional experience, preferably in MDM implementation, and  data integration

Qualifications:

  • Ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintain the processes to the data quality.
  • Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
  • Good skills in data administration, design, and architecture.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must.

$133,500 – $158,500

Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
