Job Summary
The Infrastructure Engineer II provides server management, virtualization, storage administration, data center management and handle help desk tickets via phone and in person. This position solves problems hardware and software issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Performs regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
- Installs new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Installs, configures and upgrades systems such as supports Infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project or operational needs.
- Performs periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Maintains data center environmental and monitoring equipment
Education
- Bachelor's Degree | Preferred
Certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) | Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) | Preferred
- Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) | Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) | Preferred

Pay Rate: $90,000 - $107,000 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
