Job Summary

    The Entity and Business License Analyst plays a key role in supporting the governance and compliance functions by managing the lifecycle of business entities and specialty licenses across multiple jurisdictions. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow and learn within a legal and or compliance-focused environment. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, a dependable team player, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Oversee the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of business entities across all applicable states, ensuring timely filing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and file annual reports and other required documentation to maintain active status of entities in all jurisdictions.
    • Manage lifecycle of specialty business licenses, including applications, renewals, amendments, and closures.
    • Maintain accurate records and calendars for entity and license deadlines.
    • Liaise with tax, payroll, and other internal teams to gather necessary information for license filings and renewals.
    • Respond to questions from internal stakeholders regarding licensing status and compliance.
    • Track regulatory changes and deadlines to proactively manage good standings for all entities and licenses.
    • Perform a variety of administrative and confidential duties.

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience

      • High School Diploma/GED plus 5-7 years of work experience
      • Certification of coursework in paralegal studies is a plus but not required.

      Additional Experience

      • Experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department.
      • Exposure to compliance, licensing, entity management, corporate governance, or a related field.
      • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, processes, and regulatory requirements quickly.
      • Ability to follow structured processes while also identifying opportunities for improvement.
      • A proactive and dependable team player who takes ownership of responsibilities and seeks guidance when needed.
      • Familiarity with entity management or licensing platforms is a plus.

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate: $24.50 - $29.25 Hourly

        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
