Associate Payroll Specialist

Processes verification of employments, garnishments and California final pay and manual payments. Being responsible for assisting with payroll production.

This is a Temporary position ending July 31, 2023! Candidates will be working hybrid, reporting to our offices in Coppell, TX once a week.

Job Responsibilities

• Updates and validates Master Employee Records
• Collaborate with state and federal agencies to meet legal requirements to apply and report on garnishments, new hire reporting, and inquiries.
• Generates manual payments.
• Maintains awareness of relevant changes in payroll, legislative, and tax regulations by consistently attending relevant trainings and testing in order to implement changes

Certifications

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) | American Payroll Association (APA) | Preferred

Bachelor's Degree | Preferred

Minimum Work Experience

• Experience with payroll software and data entry.
• Intermediate level skills in Excel.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
