Director of Sales — RPO

The Director of Sales will build strong relationships with C-level executives in hospitals and hospital systems of existing and new clients to drive sales for the RPO business. The RPO business is an organic growth venture for AMN Healthcare and an exciting new business segment.

This dynamic individual will use a wide variety of entrepreneurial skills in marketing, lead generation and presale activities, cold-calling and appointment setting, negotiating pricing, obtaining signed contracts, and managing client accounts to achieve sales goals. This indivdiual will be involved in operations activies such as creating, organizing and overseeing recruitment efforts and customer service/support. 

This individual contributor will successfully collaborate with other individuals within the RPO team and the external support team of AMN Client Sales. The A-player will be required to obtain a minimum of 4 signed contracts per year at a sizeable level of 200 requisitions per contract.

  • Exceptional ability to work with and influence people through a highly developed interpersonal style.
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in healthcare, staffing and/or RPO.
  • Minimum of 2 years of selling at the C-suite level.
  • Proven documented achievements of the strategic consultative sale.
  • Ability to adapt, influence, and gain trust in any environment.
  • Success as an individual contributor with excellent decision making skills.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
